Alameda park and zoo - it was established in 1898 and is the
oldest zoo in the Southwest. 300 animals of 90 different species
can be seen in the zoo.
The Cloud-climbing rail trail - this name of the Alamogordo
and Sacramento Mountain Railway comes from the fact, that the railroad
climbed from the desert into lush and often rainy and cloudy mountains.

here in the South Central New Mexico.
New Mexico Museum of Space History - the facility was opened
in 1976. Its previous name was the Space Center and International
Space Hall of Fame. Visitors tour a model 2001 space station.
Old Town Alamogordo - it has many retail shops and buildings
of the early 20th Century with many different architectural designs.
